Dagenham and Rainham MP reflects on the second anniversary of the devastating fires that destroyed over 30 homes.

On the 19 July 2022 two wildfires ripped through 17 houses in Wennington Village and homes in Farm Close off Ballards Road in Dagenham. The homes and precious personal belongings were lost in the conflagrations and families lives were turned upside down. To date none of the families have been able to return.
