Popular Romford Café Shot Celebrates 10 Years at the Heart of the Community.
A much-loved family-run café in Romford is celebrating a major milestone this week as Café Shot marks its 10th birthday.
Owners Yos and Clare Badir are celebrating a decade of serving customers from their café on Brentwood Road, which has become a popular meeting place for residents from Romford, Hornchurch and the surrounding area.
To mark the occasion, Judith Holt and Martin Firmstone, former Councillor and candidate for St Alban’s Ward, paid a special visit on Monday lunchtime, presenting the owners with gifts and a birthday card in recognition of the café’s contribution to the local community.
Over the past ten years, Café Shot has built a loyal following thanks to its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and delicious food and drink, becoming a true community hub where friends, neighbours and local groups regularly meet.
Judith Holt said:
“Café Shot is a real hub of the community in this part of Romford and Hornchurch, serving with a smile delicious food and drink to the local residents. Also, Martin and I have been grateful for their kindness and hospitality when we held our Ward Surgeries there and since. Thank-you so much, Yos, Clare and Mukesh; here’s to the next ten years!”
The Havering Daily wishes everyone at Café Shot a very happy 10th birthday and congratulates Yos, Clare and the team on reaching this fantastic milestone. Here’s to many more years of serving the local community.
