Man Found Unconscious Outside Hornchurch Pub Following Early Morning Altercation
A man was found unconscious outside a pub on Hornchurch High Street in the early hours of Sunday morning after what police have described as an altercation. Officers are now appealing for information as they work to trace the suspect.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to reports of an altercation outside a pub in Hornchurch High Street, Havering at around 02:45hrs on Sunday, 19 July.
“A 40-year-old man received treatment at the scene for head injuries before being taken to hospital where he was later discharged. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made at this stage, and efforts are ongoing to trace the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Met via 101, quoting 1057/19JUL.”
Members of the public found the injured man unconscious on the ground before emergency services arrived.
Police enquiries remain ongoing, and anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police on 101, quoting CAD 1057/19JUL.
