Police Hunt Man After Indecent Exposure Near Romford School
Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly exposed himself near a school in Romford while parents and children were in the area.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told the Havering Daily:
“Around 09:00hrs on Wednesday, 1 July, police were called to Angel Way, Romford following reports of an indecent exposure.
“Victims reported that a man exposed himself before leaving the area on a bicycle. He is described as a black man of an average build who was wearing grey shorts, a grey shirt, and a black cap.
“Officers attended and searched the area, however the man could not be located. Enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.”
This is an extremely disturbing incident, particularly given that it is alleged to have occurred close to a school while families were in the area. Police investigations remain ongoing as officers work to identify the individual involved.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 2025/01JUN.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area is also encouraged to come forward and assist officers with their enquiries.
