BREAKING: Fire Destroys Havering Gymnastics Centre In Collier Row.
Firefighters were called to a fire at the Havering Gymnastics Centre on Havering Road in Collier Row shortly before 7am this morning.
Crews from Romford, Harold Hill and Hainault attended the scene, with the incident requiring six fire engines at its height.
The London Fire Brigade responded quickly and worked to bring the fire under control. The blaze is now believed to have been extinguished, with firefighters remaining at the scene.
Early indications suggest the building has suffered severe damage and completely collapsed, suffering 100% damage.
Firefighters are now carrying out investigations to establish the cause of the fire.
Their swift response helped prevent the situation from escalating further, and crews are expected to remain in the area while enquiries continue.
