The Palms Hotel recently celebrated the soft launch of its new Plaza Lounge in style, with an elegant ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Mayor Gerry O’Sullivan and a guest appearance by West Ham icon Carlton Cole. Attendees enjoyed a night to remember, with captivating live performances by Ellie Lowe and Luke Montgomery, and a delicious sampling of the hotel’s signature Indo-fusion cuisine.

Ideally situated on the A127 near M25 Junction 29 and a mere 16 miles from Central London, The Palms offers the perfect combination of comfort and sophistication, making it a prime destination for locals and visitors alike.

Paul Harrison, Director of PK Media, who is the community officer for Palms, told the Havering Daily, “The Palms’ journey has been as dynamic as its design—originally opening as the Fairlanes Motel in 1971, the venue later operated as a Hilton before undergoing a thoughtful transformation into the stylish haven it is today. The recent renovations have successfully merged the building’s rich heritage with a sleek, contemporary flair, creating an inviting atmosphere that honours the past while embracing the present.

Now open for guests, The Palms is ready to redefine hospitality in Havering. Whether you’re visiting for a meal, an event, or an overnight stay, experience a true blend of history, style, and welcoming service at The Palms.
