East Area officers remove knives, metal baseball bat, sledgehammers and large amounts of drugs all located in a property.


Great work by Thames Ward Safer Neighbourhoods officers has resulted in the removal of sledgehammers, and many other dangerous weapons as a result of visit to a property.

The officers were asked to assist to a property visit by Barking and Dagenham Council, following a water leak that was leaking sewage to properties below.

On arrival, officers found a metal baseball bat, a sledgehammer, an axe, numerous kitchen knives, and a large quantity of drugs.

Two males have been arrested for Possession with intent to supply.
