Reports of a disturbance in Hornchurch involving a group of people ended with a male in his 50s being stabbed and a 25 year old female and 25 year old male being arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
The incident took place on Friday 14 January on Suttons Lane, police attended and the air ambulance was also present. The man was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Met police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 20:16hrs on Friday, 14 January to reports of a disturbance involving a group of people in Suttons Lane, Hornchurch.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man, aged in his 50s, with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
“A 25-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They were subsequently bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early February.
