Havering’s Black Minority Ethnic group hosted an amazing cultural event at Langtons Gardens in Hornchurch on Saturday 23 of October. The special afternoon saw many fantastic performances by a variety of artists including Indian dancing and special African drummer Michael from Bukina Faso.

Many local residents came out to taste the delicious homemade food available from many of the stalls and watch the live performances on the stage.

The event was formally opened by Havering’s Mayor Councillor John Mylod.

This was a great cultural event that bought all members of our community together, well done to Felicia and Sharon from Havering’s Black Minority Ethnic Forum for organising this very special afternoon.
