The death of a 52 year old woman on Cardiff Close in Collier Row on Friday 24 September, is currently being treated as unexplained. A post mortem was commenced yesterday and was inconclusive. Police are currently waiting for further test resutls.
A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:
“At 10:00hrs on Friday, 24 September, officers attended an address in Cardiff Close, Romford after concerns were raised for the welfare of the occupant.
“A 52-year-old woman was found unresponsive inside the property.
“London Ambulance Service paramedics attended but despite their best efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:22hrs.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances.
“A post-mortem examination commenced on Saturday, 25 September, was inconclusive. Officers await the results of further tests.”
