Man arrested in Cranham after driving the wrong way down the A127

A man has been arrested tonight in Cranham after a police pursuit that saw him drive the wrong way down the A127.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“Officers were in pursuit of a vehicle that failed to stop for police at around 19:49hrs in the Upminster area.

“The pursuit was terminated after the suspect vehicle drove the wrong way down the A127 towards Basildon.

“The vehicle was traced again and a man decamped and made off in the Kennet Close area. He was detained near Waycross Road.”
