VIDEO: South Hornchurch police day of action.

Great work by East Area police who under took a South Hornchurch day of action on the Orchard Village estate.

Forty officers took part in this pro active day that included Safer Neighbourhood teams, Safer Transport teams, Havering Joint Task Force and Met Police Specials.

Also participating in this special day were members of Havering Council’s Community Safety Team and Street Wardens.

Local councillors Graham Williamson and Natasha Summers, alongside prospective councillors for the Beam Park ward Ross Elliott, Daniel Beal and Trevor Mc Keever all joined in the day of action.

The day proved to be very positive with the following results achieved:

1 x process – No licence/no insurance.

1 x vehicle seized.

6 x CRIS reports completed.

48 x Searches completed.

5 x  Cannabis Resolutions Issued.

1 x PND – Cannabis possession.

2 x Sharp/pointed items recovered.

2 x S35 Dispersals issued.

2 x Community Weapon Sweeps Conducted.
