18 year old Romford man arrested on suspicion of Daniel Laskos murder.


Detectives investigating the murder of Daniel Laskos in Harold Wood have arrested a seventh male.

[G] An 18-year-old man was arrested at an address in Romford on Monday, 17 May on suspicion of murder. He has been taken into custody.

Three other males have previously been charged with murder.

[A] A 15-year-old male, was arrested on Friday, 7 May on suspicion of murder. On Wednesday, 12 May he was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

[B] Joshua Kerr, 18 (18.02.03) of Romford, was arrested on Friday, 7 May on suspicion of murder. On Wednesday, 12 May he was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

[D] Callum Hands, 19 (26.03.02), of Romford was arrested on Sunday, 9 May on suspicion of murder. On Wednesday, 12 May he was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

All three appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 12 May where they were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 14 May.

They were further remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on 30 July.

Previously, three other males were arrested in connection with the incident.

The first, a 16-year-old male [C], was arrested on Friday, 7 May on suspicion of affray.

The second, an 18-year-old man [E], was arrested on Monday, 10 May on suspicion of murder.

The third, a 24-year-old man [F], was arrested on Tuesday, 11 May on suspicion of murder.

‘C’, ‘E’ and ‘F’ have all been released on bail to return at a date in early June.

The charges relate to the murder of 16-year-old Daniel Laskos who was fatally stabbed in Church Road, Harold Wood on Friday, 7 May.
