A special show in aid of a cat called Callum. Pippa’s Army need our help!

  • thehaveringdaily.co.uk

Here in Havering we pride ourselves as being animal lovers. Right across the borough most of us love our pets and animals in general. Pippa’s Army now need our help!

The team who do an amazing job rescuing animals are about to launch a show in aid of a very beautiful moggy named Callum who was rescued on the streets of Essex.

Callum did have a microchip but sadly the charity were unable to trace his family despite much searching. Sad to say that certain people clearly should never own animals.

In foster it became apparent he had a problem both sitting and going to the toilet which showed after an X-ray that it was caused by an old, badly healed pelvic injury. He has had to have operations to remove the blockage and is now under the care of Dick White’s veterinary hospital.

Pippa’s Army rescue is a small group of volunteers in the Essex / London area who help find missing pets, and re-homing and welfare of stray cats amongst other necessary tasks. Like many rescues especially in 2020, they are inundated with animals in desperate need, yet they have a shortage of funds.

Callum is just one of these in need, and with such a wonderful happy nature he really needs this chance of a future and Pippa’s Army just don’t have the funds to help him. So please Havering, let us step in and help Callum.

They are therefore about to launch this virtual cat show, the target audience will be cat lovers everywhere who they hope for a small donation will enter their lovely felines via a photograph to the online dedicated show page. Pippa’s Army will sponsor the page to get as much interest as they can and encourage as many entries to raise much needed funds.

They are looking also for sponsorship for the show, perhaps towards the cost of the rosettes or prizes for the class or overall winner. In return they would happily promote your website / social media page. We also have a very large following on our rescue page.

Sponsorship choices are as follows

Overall best in show rosette – sponsorship £25
Prizes for winners of open class – £75 or donation of prizes to value of £5 each x 15
