Back Our Bobbies-Knife arch and drugs dog operation at Havering Colleges.

Havering Police Schools team joined forces with Havering College to undertake a series of weapon sweeps around the college areas across the borough.

The day of action was led by Inspector O Donoghue and his team who worked in partnership with the colleges to search surrounding areas.

Havering Council Enforcement Team were also present as searches took place in Farnham Road and Ardleigh Green college. Searches were also undertaken later in the day at Elm Park and Romford station.

The operation proved successful as two knives were recovered, a syringe, two stopped for driving offences, eight cannabis warnings were given and four arrests made.
