Back our Bobbies: Prolific burglar sentenced to 5 years.

Detectives investigating a series of burglaries and related offences, in East Area, since December 2019, saw Mark Davis, (6/11/1987), of no fixed abode, plead guilty to three offences of residential burglary and one of attempted burglary, at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 26th August.

Mark Davis was sentenced to 5 years 4 months in prison. DS Nathan Lee of the Burglary and Robbery Investigation Team said: “Burglary has an enormous impact on victims, and on this occasion the sentencing reflects the gravity of harm in which Mark Davis perpetrated on victims.

“In one of the residential burglaries, Mark Davis stole gold jewellery and a high value vehicle totalling in excess of £25,000.

“The Burglary and Robbery Investigation Team continue to work hard in targeting those intent on committing residential burglaries within East Africa.
