The Romford Film Festival presses play on an amazing week of film.


You could be forgiven in the current climate, to think twice about leaving the house, but consider again as The Romford Film Festival is now in full swing and provides a safe and socially distanced movie-going experience that would be hard to find anywhere else. 

If you haven’t already, then you really should pay it a visit and catch some superb films, from local and international filmmakers, that are showing at The Premiere Cinema in The Mercury Shopping Centre until the 19th of August.

With many films starring acclaimed actors, including Jane Asher, Ruth Weiss, and Rainham born pro-wrestler Will Ospreay, there’s sure to be something to please everyone. The festival is also host to over 90 world or UK premieres, including Blind, Powerless, Puppet Killer and Kings of Mulberry Street. 

Each day kicks off at 10am with a host of great films showing up until 10pm. There are single film tickets and whole day passes to suit your individual film cravings, from just £4.00. If you choose to spend the whole day binge watching movies with us, there are also plenty of options in The Mercury to grab a bite in between each film. If you want a quick caffeine boost you can stop and grab a coffee at BB’s or if you want a larger meal before going into an evening movie give McDonalds or Della continental a try.

Whatever your movie tastes happen be, drama, comedy, documentary, action, be assured The Romford Film Festival will have some unique and inspiring films on offer for you to enjoy. So, come on down and see some truly entertaining movies.
