‘It was horrific. She dropped to the floor and didn’t move, then the security guards went away laughing.’

A group of teenage college students who went to a pub in Romford last night for a quiet drink ended up being viciously attacked by the security staff on the door.

The brutal attack took place last night along South Street in Romford as the teenage girls were punched, pushed and kicked leaving one not moving on the pavement.

Delaney Duggan from Romford and a group of her friends went to the pub in South Street to listen to the karaoke. They had just finished their first drink when one of the teenagers went to the bar to get another to be refused for no apparent reason.

Delaney told the Havering Daily: “I went up and asked the bar staff why they refused to serve my friend and they could not answer me. As I walked back from the bar the security guard pushed me. He grabbed my coat and my hair and pushed me against the wall.

I told him not to touch me and started to walk out of the pub. As we left the security guards then all started to hit my friend for no reason. They started punching her in the face and in the end she fell to the floor and couldn’t move.

It was horrific, I’ve never seen anything like it. She dropped to the floor and didn’t move, then the guards went away laughing and my friend was left unable to move on the floor.

We asked to get CCTV footage but they said that there isn’t any so now we are trying to locate other cameras along the road that might have picked up this attack on my friend.”

Delaney is just 5’1 and 18 years old and her friends are all teenagers who wanted to attend the karaoke event at the pub.

Her friend’s face after the attack.

Now they are appealing to anyone who might have seen what happened last night or for CCTV cameras along South Street.

The pub has been contacted and no response has so far been given.

There’s always the other side to this story. I was there and these ‘kids’ were very rude to staff and another customer calling her a “fat mess” because she accidentally bumped into one of the girls. They were drunk and got removed and then decided to spit and throw punches at the bouncers in which they were in their right the restrain these violent, rude and uneducated spoilt children

Not condoning the bouncers actions, but if she is part of the Duggan family who lived off lodge lane in collier row, then the family are all wrong uns. I suspect they caused trouble of some sort to start all this off.

I’m not appart of the Duggan family in Collier row. How odd more than one family share the same last name. How narrow minded can people actually be. When u see the cctv hope your opinion changes and I hope justice is put forward to my friend who was severally beaten up and everyone else who has been attacked by them bouncers.

My mum raised me with respect. I don’t remember seeing you at the time of the incident? If you know so much about what happened how comes u didn’t make a statement to the police who was asking for all witnesses ? When In fact havering CCTV shows a whole different story.

They are not the police they only have reason to restrain if violent towards them in this case the girl was atta ked and assaulted and possibly left for dead whilst they walk off laughing.in my experience in romford they are all corrupt.

All pubs along South St have to have cctv at all times as part of their licence conditions, so the police can ask to see it if an assault took place.

As no mention of the pub in question has been made, can you enlighten me as to the name of the premises, so that I can look at the licence conditions to see how long cctv should be kept?

My name is darren from rainham im 41yrs of age i used to go romford and i was a regular in the worlds inn..yates..the golden lion …and the old pub next to the golden lion in the market i also used to go baileys which was called another name yrs ago..in my many yrs ive been there i have had trouble for no reason from the worlds inn bouncers and baileys but under another name…i have had hand marks round my neck which i was lifted up off my feet to be removed for no reason and all they came back with to the police was that i became aggressive outside where i was pushed backwards onto the concrete infront of a police van which i had no reason to be agressive about except for being removed for no reason and i didnt get a answer either to why i was removed….these so called bouncers arent really bouncers they are run by a security group which also dont help you either..wether you did wrong or right they should not lay a fi ger on you and are supposed to ask you to leave instead of being hands on.as for myself i no longer visit romford as 1 its a shithole.2 the “bouncers”are corrupt and some dont do their job properly and do things to shame you infront of people..the reason they dont answer to it is because its a common occurance that they attack customers…ill never spend any money ever again in a romford pub or club..seen too many assaults by bouncers…stay clear go elsewhere..

I know Delaney is a caring girl she isn’t the sort of person to throw punches at a security guard. She came and looked after my little brother not that long ago when he was in hospital. Plus I’m pretty sure her friends the same. I know how Romford gets it’s a scum hole. I see the Bouncers on the doors all the time chatting pure shit to people passing by.
