Station Road closed as air ambulance lands in nearby park.

Station Road in Harold Wood was closed earlier as emergency services including the air ambulance arrived following a motorbike collision.

The moped rider was believed to have been placed in the recovery position by passer by’s as they awaited the emergency crews to arrive. The rider is believed to be in a critical condition in hospital.

It is believed that a man riding a moped without a helmet was involved in a collision. The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

Residents in the area had witnessed two moped riders in the area riding along Church Road without helmets.
