Havering ’90 Joggers member Stuart Allen runs the world famous Athens Marathon
Havering ’90 Joggers member Stuart Allen ran the world famous Athens Marathon with twenty thousand other runners, Allen ran in 4 hours 45 minutes, the marathon started in pouring rain and ending in brilliant sunshine and 22 degrees with 20km of uphill in the middle.
Members Christina Clementson and Joanne Reeves ran at the Saffron Walden Half Marathon, Clementson just missed out of a personal best as unfortunately the route was slightly longer than 13.1 miles. Member James Blogg came 3rd male at the Forestry 100 Running Series 10km at Thames Chase on Sunday.
62 members were running at nine different parkruns this weekend with two members running at East Coast Park parkrun in Singapore, other parkruns visited were Grovelands, Burnham-on-Crouch, Raphael, Harrow Lodge, Clacton Seafront, Hastings parkrun, South Woodham Ferrers and Great Dunmow parkrun.
Members Richard Cossey (26:00), Brian Cross (31:13), Éloïse Jones (30:40), Melissa Lunn (30:43) and Michael Robinson (26:25) all beat their course bests

Havering ’90 Joggers meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start time at the Abbs Cross Health & Fitness Centre in Abbs Cross Lane
