Anita was so pleased with the turn out and response by the local community that she now plans to host more fund raising events.

Anita told the Havering Daily, ‘The coffee morning has been great and we have managed to raise over £400. This is the first event I have organised however, I plan to organise another one in the summer for Parkinson’s and dementia.’

Anita went on to say, ‘It was a great idea to use the community green. Even those who were unaware of the event but were passing were able to stop and have a drink and a chat’
