Residents in Bromley, in south London, attacked proposals for a 22-metre high 5G mast that were submitted in January.
They said the proximity of the monopole to their homes “raises serious concerns regarding the potential long-term health effects associated with continuous exposure to electromagnetic radiation, mainly for children”.
Following another road traffic collision at the Marsh Way junction with New Road, Beam Park Councillors Trevor Mckeever and Matt Stanton have written to the Deputy Mayor for Transport, Seb Dance, to ask that approval be given as soon as possible for alterations to the traffic lights.

Men armed with hammers and screwdrivers robbed the Esso petrol garage in Rainham just before 5am this morning. The incident happened on New Road as the men entered the premises armed stealing alcohol, cash and cigarettes. A member of staff was in the garage at the time, but was not injured.
