Looking for a fun, friendly way to get active this autumn?

Romford Hockey Club is inviting women, men and juniors to come along and discover hockey as the new season gets underway.

Whether you have played hockey for years, haven’t picked up a stick since school, or have never played the sport before, the club is encouraging people of all abilities to come along and have a go.

The club says its sessions are designed to be welcoming and friendly, making them a great opportunity for anyone looking to get active, meet new people and try something different.

Never played before? No problem

You don’t need to be an experienced hockey player to get involved.

Romford Hockey Club welcomes complete beginners as well as returning players, including those who may have played at school or in the past and are thinking about getting back into the sport.

The club is also welcoming juniors, giving younger players the opportunity to learn the sport, develop their skills and enjoy being part of a local team.

Your first session is free

For anyone who is unsure whether hockey is for them, there is an added incentive to give it a try.

Your first session is free.

The club welcomes players of all abilities and is encouraging local people to come along to a taster session and see what they think.

It could be the start of a completely new hobby, a way to get fitter, or simply an opportunity to meet people in the local community.

A local club for all abilities

Romford Hockey Club is encouraging anyone who has been thinking about becoming more active to take that first step.

You don’t need to be super-fit, highly competitive or an experienced hockey player.

Just come along and have a go.
