HAVERING TASK FORCE STRIKES AGAIN: Three Stolen Vehicles Recovered Overnight.
Havering Joint Task Force has continued its crackdown on vehicle crime, recovering three additional stolen vehicles during patrols during Tuesday night.
The latest results come just a day after officers took part in a major policing operation across Romford and Harold Hill, targeting crime and anti-social behaviour.
Rather than stopping there, the Havering Joint Task Force continued its patrols into the evening — and their efforts have once again paid off.
Three stolen vehicles were located and recovered by the team.
It means the local Task Force has now achieved another significant result in its ongoing work to tackle vehicle crime across the borough.
The team, funded by Havering Council and dedicated to policing across the borough, has been increasingly visible in communities and is focused on tackling offences including vehicle crime, burglary, theft and anti-social behaviour.
The latest recoveries demonstrate the importance of proactive patrols and officers acting on intelligence to locate vehicles that have been stolen.
It follows Tuesday’s Operation Collard, which saw officers from the Havering Joint Task Force working alongside Safer Neighbourhood Teams, the Romford Town Centre Team, EA Street Duties officers, the MPS Dog Section and British Transport Police.
That operation resulted in six arrests, 39 stop and searches and the recovery of another stolen vehicle, which was found displaying cloned registration plates.
Now, just one day later, the Joint Task Force has recovered three more stolen vehicles.
For residents, this is exactly the type of visible and proactive policing they want to see.
The message from the Havering Joint Task Force is clear: the work doesn’t stop when an operation ends.
