Police Divers Search Harrow Lodge Lake as Investigation Continues

Residents were surprised to see Metropolitan Police divers searching Harrow Lodge Lake this morning as officers carried out enquiries as part of an ongoing investigation.

Several locals contacted the Havering Daily after spotting specialist police dive teams and officers working in and around the lake, prompting questions about the activity taking place.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police are carrying out searches in Harrow Lodge Park as part of an ongoing investigation to locate items of property that may have been discarded in the area. Enquiries remain ongoing.”

The Metropolitan Police has not released any further details about the nature of the investigation or the items officers are searching for.

Police activity remained visible throughout the morning as specialist officers continued their searches in and around the lake.
