Video: Swift Police Response Stops Destruction at Rainham’s Bell Pub

Rainham community champion and ward councillor Sue Ospreay has thanked her local police response team for their swift action in halting anti social behaviour.

Councillor Ospreay received reports that the Bell pub in Rainham was being damaged, with individuals entering the premises and smashing windows from the inside.

She attended the scene and said she could see and hear glass being smashed. Councillor Ospreay immediately contacted police, who arrived within minutes and entered the premises to deal with those involved.

The area around the pub had recently been cleared following work led by Councillor Ospreay, and thanks to the prompt response from officers, further anti social behaviour was quickly brought under control.

Councillor Ospreay has since thanked the police for their continued support in keeping the community safe.
