Romford MP Andrew Rosindell, Nigel Farage and a united right fight to take control back of our borders.

News From the Member of Parliament for Romford-Andrew Rosindell MP.

Recently in the House of Commons, Parliamentarians had the opportunity to reaffirm our sovereignty and take back control of our borders – to put right the totally unfair reality that foreign judges can overturn decisions made by our sovereign Parliament. However, Labour and their left-wing allies voted it down.

I was proud to Co-Sponsor Nigel Farage’s 10-Minute Rule Bill, alongside colleagues from the Conservatives, Reform, the DUP, and TUV. Together, as a united right, we took the fight to Labour and their allies in the Liberal Democrats, Greens, and SNP, who continue to prioritise supranational institutions over the will of the British people.

Britain has a proud and ancient tradition of defending individual liberty and freedom stretching back to Magna Carta in 1215, the development of Common Law, and the 1689 Bill of Rights. These foundational principles have long safeguarded our freedoms without the need for external oversight.

It was continental Europe, devastated by tyranny and war in the 1940s, that required the creation of the European Court of Human Rights. Unlike Britain, many European nations lacked a deep-rooted tradition of liberty and the rule of law. The ECHR may have been necessary for them, and it was largely the United Kingdom who helped constitute it, but it is now being weaponised against us to override the democratic decisions made by the Mother of all Parliaments.

This Bill could have begun the process of reclaiming control of our borders, restoring the primacy of our laws, and ensuring that the British people feel like they are being listened to, but yet again, they have been silenced by an establishment who cares more about foreign criminals and mass immigration than them.

If Jenrick succeeds in ousting the hopeless Badenoch before the next election, he won’t have to as the Tories will morph into full-on Reform

The prospect of this neo-fascist grifter becoming PM should horrify all patriotic British citizens (note ‘patriotic’ not ‘nationalist’ – there’s a difference). Given that he has addressed meetings of the AfD, the German far-right party containing openly Hitler-worshipping neo-Nazis, the thought of him laying a wreath at the Cenotaph is truly stomach churning.

I notice it’s the hard right nutjobs in the Tory Party, like Jenrick and Lam, that have supported this odious individual’s proposal to restrict our hard won rights and freedoms in his push to turn the UK into Trump-lite authoritarianism. The more traditional i.e. sensible, Tories like Stride and Cleverley, quite rightly, wanted nothing to do with it.

Maybe Rosindell should consider joining Reform as they seem to be his natural home. I was always part-expecting him to jump to UKIP in the days of Cameron like Reckless and Carswell.
