Havering Police Officers Demonstrate Incredible Bravery Tackling Violent Armed Male Who Had Injured Members Of The Public At Station.

Four Havering police officers have been praised after their heroic actions resulted in the arrest of a violent man at Harold Wood station in February last year.

PC Howsego, PC Straker, PC Ahmed and PC Begum attended a call at the station where there had been reports of a man with serious injuries, and an armed suspect still at the location.

 When the officers arrived at the location, the suspect’s behaviour was incredibly volatile. PC Straker and PC Begum gave chase without hesitation and bravely detained and arrested the man. 

PC Howsego and PC Ahmed began first aid on the victim until the arrival of the ambulance service. The officers then went and assisted PC Straker and PC Begum who were struggling to detain the violent male.

Despite being exposed to such horrific injuries, the officers on scene remained professional, calm and collected. Thanks to the bravery of these officers the man was charged and has since been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order.

Well done to these four officers whose incredible actions have safely removed a dangerous individual from our streets.
