UPDATE: Man in Critical Condition After Stabbing in South Hornchurch

A man remains in critical condition after being stabbed in South Hornchurch in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police were called at 05:27hrs on 29th March to reports of a serious assault on Cherry Tree Lane. Emergency services attended, and the victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His condition has been described as critical.

Officers remain at the scene, and a police cordon is in place as investigations continue. No arrests have been made at this stage.

Police have confirmed that this incident is not believed to be linked to the violent attack that took place in Elm Park last weekend.
