Under Inspector Routley and his team of officers, the Clear Hold Build initiative launched last year across Harold Hill, is continuing to make vast improvements across the area.

On Monday 15 April, known local thief Bradley Thomas, was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment after he breached his Criminal Behaviour Order in Harold Hill.

Thomas, 37, of no fixed address, was sentenced at Barkingside Magistrates Court to the 12 weeks imprisonment after officers found him breaching the conditions of his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) last week.

The conditions of the CBO, which was granted in November 2021 following multiple shoplifting and burglary offences, prohibited him from entering the Co-Op and Boots in Farnham Road, as well as having possession of any drugs paraphernalia or open bottles of alcohol on his person

Inspector Charlie Routley, tactical lead for Clear Hold Build in Havering, said: “This is a fantastic result by my team and further cements our commitment to apprehending those responsible of committing crime within Harold Hill as part of our ongoing Clear Hold Build initiative.  It also demonstrates how vital the use of Criminal Behaviour Orders can be in dealing with prolific offenders such as Mr Thomas and swiftly dealing with them in a positive way. This should send a clear message to those individuals who frequent Harold Hill solely with the intent to commit crime. We will utilise tactics such as the use of CBOs to ensure you are held to account for your actions”.

Great work by our local policing team.
