Tesco Stronger Starts Golden Grants.

On Saturday Tesco in Rainham ran their special Tesco Stronger Starts Golden Grants event where three charities had the opportunity to win money for their projects every three months.

Customers in the store had the chance to vote by placing a blue token into a voting unit and Natalie the community champion at the Rainham Extra store counted them up and sent them off!

Golden grants allows one of the three charities on the voting list to win an instant £5k.
There is one ‘Gold’ token in a bag of 99 blue, customers were asked to pull the golden token. The one who found it, got to choose which charity they would like to receive the £5k for.

This time round, the customer chose The Habbit Factory, in Hornchurch
