An man in his 80s was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car on Main Road in Romford.

The incident happened on Saturday just after 6pm, where the pensioner was taken to hospital and luckily his injuries have been deemed not life threatening.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 18:22 on Saturday, 18 February to a collision involving a man and a car in Main Road, Romford.

The man, in his 80s, was taken to hospital, where he remains. His condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.”
