VIDEO: The festive season begins across Havering as Romford Christmas Light Switch-On delights thousands.

Christmas time is officially here! Romford came to life yesterday evening with the festive spirit as residents gathered at Romford Market for the highly anticipated Christmas Light Switch-On event. The event was a grand celebration that concluded with the Mayor of Havering Councillor Stephanie Nunn, illuminating the town’s enchanting Christmas lights. The market was filled from front to back with residents eager to witness the magical moment.

The highlight of the evening was the performances by DJ Luck and MC Neat, who took the stage by storm, and Rozalla who performed her 90s worldwide hit Everybody’s Free. Other acts include Razzamataz Theatre School, vocalist Vivica Jade, and the M&S Romford team.

The Romford Christmas Light Switch-On Event was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who attended. It was a celebration that brought together the spirit of the season, the joy of community, and the magic of Christmas.
