Thanks to excellent police driving skills, pursuit ends in driver giving up and arrested for multiple offences.

Last week a police pursuit through Collier Row ended with the suspect giving up and being arrest for a series of driving offences thanks to the excellent driving skills of East Area officer PC Allen.

PC Allen is a newly qualified TPAC driver ( Tactical Pursuit and Containment) and his excellent calm commentary allowed a pursuit to continue safely leading to the driver eventually giving up. The pursuit started in Collier Row and ended in North Street, Romford. Drugs were also seen to be discarded and recovered.

PC Allen’s operator was a Special Constable Hubert-Malewski with PC Francis from Collier Row C Team also assisting.

The male aged 28 was charged and remanded for: Fail to stop Dangerous driving PWITS Class A; No driving licence, no insurance.

The vehicle was also seized.

The suspect is due to attended Snaresbrook Crown Court on August 31.

Great work by our officers.

Drugs found on the road following the vehicle pursuit last week.
