Collier Row man charged with possession of a firearm, class A drugs and an offensive weapon.
Yesterday, Wednesday 8 June the Havering Daily reported on an incident where a man was stopped by police for drink driving and then arrested for possession of a firearm, class A drugs and possession of a knife on Collier Row Road.
The man has now been named as George White from Collier Row Road, who is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court today.
A spokesperson for the Met police told the Havering Daily:
“A man has been charged with a number of offences after officers stopped a vehicle in Collier Row Road, Romford, on Tuesday, 7 June.
George White, (29.11.89), of Collier Row Road, Romford, was charged on Wednesday, 8 June with possession of a firearm, possession of class A drugs (cocaine), possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis.
He will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 9 June.”
