St Albans ward Councillor Judith Holt is calling for a tidy up of the area surrounding Romford station. Councillor Holt says that when you arrive to Romford and exit the train station, the streets look grubby, dirty and in general need of repair. The Romford councillor is calling for the area to be redeveloped and cleaned up so people’s first impressions of Romford are a lot more positive.

The streets surrounding the station look very run down and their is a lot of litter on the floor and dirt outside shop fronts. Councillor Holt is calling on Network Rail to help redevelop the nearby land they own near the station and give the area a much needed face lift.
