Anti knife crime crusader hands over 1298 taken off our streets.

Courtney Barrett the anti knife crime campaigner yesterday handed over 1298 knives to police officers at Forest Gate Police station.

Mr Barrett is a local legend who has spent many years walking the streets of east London with his famous wheelie bin collecting knives off our streets and other dangerous weapons.

Yesterday, Courtney handed over another 1298 knives to Sergeant Bristow from Forest Gate Police station to be disposed off correctly.
