Summer fun at Romford Shopping Hall.

Romford Shopping Hall were delighted to welcome back shoppers after the lockdown and held a free summer treasure hunt with over 100 children participating.

Children collected a map, followed it around the shops and collected their treasure coins and sweets. All participating children received a well done medal at the end and accompanying adults enjoyed a free tea courtesy of the new ‘Hideout Cafe’ on the first floor.

Michelle fitzgibbons said “We had an amazing day seeing all the children having a bit of fun, it’s been far too long and we have missed holding events at the shopping hall during lockdown.

“The children all looked fabulous in their awesome fancy dress outfits too. Parents were amazed how many new businesses had opened during lockdown. We are looking forward to an action packed October half term activity programme – watch this space!

“We raised £100 in generous donations. This will be split between Veterans Aid and King George and Queens hospital charities.”
