A teenager was taken to hospital yesterday after receiving an injury to his face. It is believed the 14 year old was assaulted with a machete on Rainham Road just after 7pm last night.
A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 19:02hrs on Monday, 2 August following reports that two teenage boys had been assaulted in Rainham Road, Rainham.
“Officers attended and established that a robbery had taken place.
“London Ambulance Service also attended and a 14-year-old was taken to an east London hospital with a slash injury to his face. A second 14-year-old boy did not require hospital treatment.
“An investigation has been launched and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has useful information about what took place.”
