Tesco’s two community champions are real Havering heroes.
Danielle Matthews and Natalie Camilis are two Havering Heroes! The ladies work at Rainham Tesco on Bridge Road, where they are community champions who have served the Havering community for many years. The ladies have worked for Tesco for over 12 years and have been supporting endless projects right across our community.
They donate food to charities every day, they participate in community events and they even go out and help redecorate properties in need of some tlc.

They told the Havering Daily: “We donate food to foodbanks, cafes, churches, the Mardyke Community Centre and many others. We involves ourselves with the local community as much as we can and try and help people.”

And this they certainly do! They recently painted Glebe House and helped with a mural there. They litter pick across the area, they undertook a gardening project at the Mardyke Centre where they redesigned the garden area for the locals. The ladies set up a special fund raising event in Tesco car park with a stage and performers to raise money for Diabetes UK. Nothing is a too bigger challenge for Danielle and Natalie!

“We are very passionate about what we do and we love helping the community,” they finished. These ladies are real community champions with a heart of gold.

If you have a project you would like the ladies to get involved with, please write to them at Rainham Tesco.
