Two fatalities and 15 stabbed in less than 48 hours on the streets of London this weekend. None of the incidents are believed to be related despite 10 being in south London.

The spate of violence began on Friday evening in Hatton Garden’s and continued into Saturday evening when a 22 year old man was fatally stabbed on Willesden Lane. Police officers and paramedics gave cpr on scene and the man was taken to a central London hospital where he sadly died. He has been named as Sven Badzak.

Anti knife campaigners are calling on the Mayor Sadiq Khan and the Government to intervene to stop this appalling violent pandemic continuing on our streets.

Courtney Barrett from Binning Knives Saves Lives, joined forces with Peguy Kato who runs All Champion’s Charity following the death of her son to knife crime in 2013, to call on our officials to intervene to stop these horrors.

“Where are you Sadiq Khan? Can you see what is going on? We need help for our police, they are doing the best that they can but this is a violent crime pandemic that needs to stop. Stabbings like these are now going to be the new norm. This can’t go on.”
