BREAKING: One man dead following collision on A13 junction in Rainham.

A man has sadly died following a collision between an HGV and a cyclist this morning along Marsh Way at the junction of the A13 in Rainham.

The incident happened at 7 am and road closures are still in place.

A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called shortly after 07:00hrs on Thursday, 14 January to reports of a collision involving an HGV and a cyclist on the A13 junction Marsh Way, Northbound.

“Officers, London Ambulance and London’s Air Ambulance attended. Despite the best efforts of emergency services a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Enquiries are ongoing to trace the man’s next of kin.

“A number of roads remain closed as enquiries continue.”
