Former police officer sets up Hidden-in-Sight charity to combat animal abuse.

A former police officer who worked in counter terrorism and organised crime has set up his own charity to fight animal abuse.

Mark Randell worked many years in law enforcement investigating high level crime and saw that there was a connection between abusers that also abuse animals. Mark is specialised in investigating crime and looks at the abuser behind the crime.

He has spent many years travelling around the world fighting animal abuse. He told the Havering Daily: “We are supposed to be a nation of animal lovers yet the highest sentence you can get for animal abuse in this country is six months. In countries like Greece, it is ten years, that is a huge difference.”

Mark is a specialist investigator that has now dedicated his life to fighting animal abuse globally. He has a wealth of knowledge that he is happy to share with others who also wish to stop horrific crimes against animals.

Mark is a vegetarian and huge animal lover and will be writing for the Havering Daily to share his knowledge with us.
