Man wanted after hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol stolen from Romford and Hornchurch shops.
Detectives investigating a report of shoplifting incidents where hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol was stolen have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
Police received reports that £484 worth of alcohol was stolen from a shop in Gallows Corner, RM3, on Tuesday, 10 November at approximately 14:45hrs. The next day, police received a report that £497 worth of alcohol had been stolen from a shop in Hornchurch Road, RM11 at approximately 11:30hrs.
Officers are releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.
Detective Constable Chloe Pudney, from the Met’s East Area Command Unit, said: “This was a shameless shoplifting spree and we will be pursuing all avenues to track down the person responsible.
“I’m interested in speaking with the man pictured in this image in relation to these incidents, and to anyone who may have information that could help progress this investigation.”
