Havering author releases children’s poetry book.

Sabinah Adewole is a best selling author from Havering. The Collier Row poet has a new children’s poetry book being released on the 29th of September.

A Child’s Journey through Poetry Volume 2 covers many themes for young people looking into the world and wanting something to relate to.

Sabinah told the Havering Daily: “I wanted to inspire children to be themselves and follow their dreams. I wrote this book after sitting on a park bench in Gidea Park and watching the world go by.”

Poems in the book cover many different areas such as football, skateboarding, astronauts, basketball,being vegetarian, climate change, Covid 19, and many other topics.

Sabinah continued: “I wanted to include things that have effected us all globally so that children could relate to it such as the death of Kobi Bryant. I know his tragic death effected many youngsters across the world.”
