Harold Wood and Harold Hill councillors met with the leader of Havering Council yesterday to hand over a letter asking for more cycle lanes in the borough. The letter written by Havering cyclists and Extinction Rebellion asks that the borough install more cycle lanes in Havering.

A cycle ride from Harrow Lodge Park to the town hall in Romford took place on Saturday, where cyclists asked for more cycle lanes to be installed to make the borough greener and cleaner.

Councillor Brian Eagling and Darren Wise from Harold Wood alongside Councillor Jan Sargent from Harold Hill, yesterday passed the letter on to Councillor Damian White, the Leader of Havering Council.
