The Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford is set to re-open with the majority of its stores opening on Monday (15th) June.
The team at The Liberty have been working tirelessly over the last few weeks to prepare the centre and to ensure the space is both safe and enjoyable for its shoppers, and have a number of new measurements in place inline with Government guidelines.
, the centre will have signs on the floor, encouraging customers to use a one-way system, and to adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rule. The centre will also manage the number of customers in their stores, by introducing a limited queuing system outside their shops, which will be used if necessary.
The centre’s lifts will be restricted to only 1 person or family group at a time, giving priority access to those who may need its use more than others. The centre’s cleaning team will be on hand to do enhanced cleaning and sterilising, to make sure the centre is as clean and safe as possible for visitors.
The Liberty’s team will also be following a strict personal hygiene regime, including regularly washing their hands and the use of disposable gloves. From Monday The Liberty Car Park will also re-open and with its usual prices Monday to Saturday, with free parking on a Sunday.
Centre Manager at The Liberty, Jonathan Poole, said: “We are looking forward to reopening and welcoming back customers on Monday with the new measures in place.
“The safety and welfare of all of our occupiers and visitors is paramount to us which is why our team has been working really hard to prepare the centre for Monday.”
