Van crashes into a Romford Road after driver fails to stop for police.

A driver who failed to stop for police yesterday ended up crashing a van into a set of gates along Myrtle Road in Romford.
A Met police spokesperson told the Havering Daily: “At around 15.31 on Tuesday 7th of April a panel van failed to stop for police in Saddleworth Road, Romford.
“At 15.35 a member of the public informed police that a van had crashed in Myrtle Road and that the driver of the vehicle had run off.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.
