Havering parks packed over the weekend.

Despite the many pleas by our doctors and nurses and the Health Secretary Matt Hancock MP to not rush out to your local park over the weekend, Raphael’s and Harrow Lodge Parks were packed with people sunbathing, having picnics and playing football.

As the sun shone over Havering for the first weekend in April, many people decided to not listen to the stay at home pleas and took themselves out to enjoy the sun.

Havering police specials were called out to eight calls of non-compliance that included sunbathers, barbeques, and a house party.

As our NHS staff beg people to please stay at home, it seems that not all residents in Havering are listening.
