Staff at the Nightingale House Care Home are in desperate need of the plastic see-through visors that local schools have been producing.

Nightingale House in Main Road, Romford, cares for elderly patients, 40 of whom have dementia and the staff are getting desperately short of masks.

They are in need of the plastic visors as they can be cleaned and re used.

The staff here are doing an amazing job looking after the elderly and vulnerable in the borough during this challenging time.

If you are a local school who has been making these plastic visors, please can you email us at newsdesk@thehaveringdaily.co.uk and we will pass your information on to the care workers.

If anyone else has any masks or plastic visors please contact us and we will pass your information on to the care home.

Please help!
